Meet crossdressers
near you, in person.
Meet cross dressers in person — friendship, dating, and real connections at local meetups across seven countries.
What a cross dresser meetup actually looks like.
Forget what you think 'meet-up' might mean. Most of ours are quiet, small, and warmly run — five to fifteen people in a private room at a friendly pub or restaurant, or a private members' club. People dress how they want to dress (some en femme, some not, some half-and-half, all welcome). There's no performance pressure. The host knows everyone is there for the same reason: to spend a few hours feeling like themselves around other cross dressers and the people who love them.
Coffee, dinner, dressing day, photo day.
Coffee meet-ups are the entry-level option — an hour or two at a private venue, low commitment, easy first step. These are where most new members start, and they work because the format removes pressure: no commitment to dress, no long evening, just a way to be in a room with others who understand.
Dinner meet-ups are slightly bigger — typically 8-15 members, private dining room, two-three hours. These are usually the warmest events; good food and a relaxed setting tend to bring out the best conversations.
Dressing days are for members who want to learn from each other — makeup, wig styling, posture, voice. Often hosted at a member's home or a hired studio. Newer members often find these incredibly valuable: being taught contouring by someone who's been doing it for twenty years, in a private setting with no judgement, is genuinely hard to replicate elsewhere.
Photo days combine dressing-up with a professional photographer who's been vetted by us, in a private venue. Members get keepsake photos that they can choose to share or keep entirely private — many describe these as among the most meaningful photos they own.
Verified members get invites in their area.
When you join CrossDressersOnline and verify your account, you start seeing meetup invites for events near you. VIP and VIP+ members get earliest access to invites and priority placement on the guest list when an event is small. We never publish meetup details on the public site — they're shared only with verified, vetted members through the platform.
The reason meetup details stay private until you're a verified member is simple: we need to protect the members who attend. A meetup list that's publicly accessible could be found by family members, colleagues, or anyone else a member hasn't chosen to tell. Keeping it members-only is one of the most important safety measures we have.
Across the UK, US, Australia, Canada — and growing.
We have active meetup communities in Greater London, Manchester, Yorkshire, Glasgow, Cardiff, Birmingham, and Liverpool in the UK. In Australia: Melbourne, Sydney, Perth, Brisbane. In Canada: Toronto, Vancouver, Calgary, Montreal. Across the US: Los Angeles, New York, Chicago, Dallas, Atlanta, Seattle. Plus growing communities in Auckland, Dublin, and Johannesburg.
If you're in a city not listed, members in that city often start their own once they connect through the platform — we support new meetup hosts with venue advice, safety guidance, and a private host channel. Starting a meetup in your city doesn't require any formal setup; it just requires a few members in the same place who want to meet, and a host willing to organise it. We make that as easy as possible.
What happens at a meetup, stays at a meetup.
Every member who attends agrees to a simple set of meetup rules: no exposing anyone (ever, anywhere, online or off), no photography without consent, no pressure to dress in any particular way. People go by whatever name they want at the meetup — many use a femme name they've chosen for themselves, and we use that. Members have been attending these meet-ups for years, and not one has ever experienced an outing or a privacy breach through our events.
The hosts of our meetups are experienced community members who take the responsibility seriously. They know every attendee before the event, they check for red flags, and they manage the evening with a quiet hand. The culture of discretion in crossdresser communities is genuine and deep — everyone in the room has something to protect, which makes the mutual commitment to protection real.
Meetup questions…
Do I have to dress en femme to attend a meetup?
Not at all. Many members attend in their regular clothes, particularly for their first meetup. Others dress partly or fully en femme. There's no expectation and no pressure. You go as you are, and whatever that is, it's welcome.
How do I get invited to a meetup?
Join CrossDressersOnline, verify your account, and set your location. You'll start seeing meetup invites for events in your area in your notifications and inbox. VIP and VIP+ members get earliest access and priority placement when events have limited spaces.
What happens if someone turns out to be a problem at a meetup?
Hosts have the authority to ask anyone to leave, and they use it when necessary. Every attendee is vetted as a member before being invited, which filters out most bad actors before the event. If anything happens at a meetup that concerns you, you can report it directly to our team and we'll act on it immediately — including banning the member if warranted.
Can I host a meetup in my city?
Yes. If you're an experienced member who wants to start a meetup community in your city, we'll support you with venue advice, safety guidance, and a private host channel where you can connect with other hosts. There's no requirement to be a VIP+ member to host, though most of our current hosts are active long-term members. Get in touch through the platform if you're interested.
Are partners and allies welcome at meetups?
Yes, and often very much so. Many meetups include partners and allies alongside cross dressers. We typically indicate in the invite whether a particular event is cross dressers-only or open to partners and allies, so you know what to expect before you RSVP.
